A few weeks ago, I signed up to trek the Larapinta Trail in Alice Springs next year. The trip will help raise funds for SisterWorks, whom I am an Ambassador for. SisterWorks is a grass roots, not for profit organisation based in Melbourne. They support women who are refugees, asylum seekers or migrants to improve their confidence, mental wellbeing, sense of belonging and economic outlook.
I have set a target of $10,000 but I am hoping that with your help, we can smash that figure out of the park. I don’t expect results like Celeste Barber… but you know I love a challenge.
With the support of my very generous corporate clients we can raise funds for SisterWorks so they can continue with the tremendous work they do. The funds raised will help them extend their reach beyond Melbourne and into regional hubs and e-hubs.
Here is the link to my fundraising page and as usual all donations are tax deductible.
You may also want to check out the SisterWorks online store for any early Christmas Present purchases. 50% of profits go directly back to the women who made the products and there is quite a range to choose from. Corporate hampers, jewellery, and I can personally testify to how great the bread bags and face marks are. They even have a summer edition of face masks for the warmer weather.
Regardless of the amount, your donation will be tremendously appreciated.
