2021 Adventures – Trek Larapinta Trail

Blog

In May 2021, I am off on an adventure and you may want to join me. That’s if you think it is an adventure as you may consider it a form of torture.

Northern Territory’s Larapinta Trail

Along with my husband Steve, we will be embarking on a seven day trek along the Northern Territory’s Larapinta Trail. Trekking has always been on our list of activities to do. So, when I saw that this adventure was raising funds for SisterWorks, whom I am an ambassador for, we were in.

You can find out all the details here but some key details are…

  • Dates – 3-9 May 2021
  • Physical challenge grade – 3/5 (you walk between 10 to 16km a day)
  • Travel package – $2,750 (excluding flights)
  • Fundraising target for SisterWorks – $2,500
  • Group size – maximum of 30, walking in two groups of 15.

In regards to the current pandemic, they have a COVID safe plan in place and if conditions worsen (for example borders close again) then all money paid remains as a credit.

When you sign up to this adventure, you are making a commitment to raise funds for SisterWorks. A not for profit organisation that works with refugees, asylum seekers and migrant women to improve their confidence, mental wellbeing, sense of belonging and economic outlook.

So if you are up to the challenge to fundraise while trekking along the most spectacular parts of the Larapinta Trail then get your walking boots on. We can create stories and blisters together.

Once again, you can check out all the details here.

It promises to be an amazing opportunity.
