Ep01: Authentic Leadership Podcast Series

Blog / Podcasts

Live and Breathe Authentic Leadership

One of the best parts of my job (and there are many) is getting to meet some really interesting people.

While working with CEOs and senior leaders on their storytelling, I have the privilege of meeting people who are doing their best to live and breathe authentic leadership. Helping them to find and share their personal stories reveals aspects of them that others don’t necessarily see.

This got me thinking about how wonderful it would be if I could share their stories with others. So I decided to create a podcast series where I interview CEOs and ask them questions they don’t normally get asked, for example, what is their favourite ’80s artist?

Authentic Leadership Podcast Series – Michael Ebeid

Today, it is with great excitement that I share the first episode in my Authentic Leadership Podcast Series.

Michael Ebeid is the first CEO I have had the pleasure of interviewing. Michael is the CEO and Managing Director of SBS. Our paths first crossed a few years ago when I conducted storytelling training for his leaders. Michael subsequently wrote a testimonial for my latest book Stories for Work that was featured on the cover. Last year, Michael was awarded CEO Magazine’s CEO of the year which is a fabulous acknowledgment of his work.

Have a listen to the podcast where we discuss topics such as authentic leadership, his public stance on same sex marriage and how he cooks a perfectly poached egg. He will reveal his favourite ’80s artist and you will also be surprised by who greeted me when I walked into his office.
