Chris Freund is the founder and partner of Mekong Capital, an investment company based in Vietnam. I have been working with Chris and his team over the last six months on Storytelling. Chris is one of the most authentic leaders I have had the pleasure to work with.
Chris originally moved to Vietnam in 1994 and has more than 24 years of direct investment management experience, 21 of which were in Vietnam. Prior to forming Mekong Capital in 2001, Chris Freund was a Vice President and Portfolio Manager with Templeton Asset Management, Ltd., the emerging markets arm of the Franklin/Templeton Group.
In this podcast you will hear his insights into Authentic Leadership. He talks about why he demoted himself as Managing Partner to Partner, even taking a pay-cut! How many leaders would do that? He also discusses what took him from Chicago to Ho Chi Minh City and his love of quantum physics when trying to understand the origins of everything. Join us as we converse about religion, language and 80’s music!
To listen to my podcasts, subscribe to my series on iTunes or access them via Soundcloud. I would also love to hear your suggestions for CEOs that live and breathe Authentic Leadership. Contact us if you have someone in mind that we can invite to be part of the Authentic Leadership Podcast.
