Evolving Expectation of Employees

Blog

You don’t need to be Einstein to understand that the expectation of employees today is vastly different from what it was years ago. If you are in my generation who started in the workforce in the ‘80s, and perhaps say ‘back in the day’ way too often, you will most likely relate to this video post.

Real Communication

In my latest book, Real Communication: How to be you and lead true, I have a whole chapter dedicated to the evolving expectations of employees. The book explores how we can improve our style of leadership and communication to adapt to these changes.

P.S.

We’ve had a great response to the bushfire relief options I sent out last week. It’s not too late to contribute by signing up for one of my public workshops. $50 from each ticket sold will be donated to the Australia Red Cross Disaster Relief and Recovery campaign. Early bird prices end on 2nd February.

Alternatively, over the month of January, I will donate all profits to the bushfire appeal for my latest book, Real Communication. For logistical reasons we are selling these in cases of 34 books and I will individually sign each book. The price for each case is $1,000 (incl. GST) and we will cover the cost of postage and handling. This means we can donate close to $600 for every case of books purchased. Simply send Elise an email with how many cases you want and where you would like them sent and she will arrange everything accordingly.
